Multiple Postdoctoral Researcher Positions in Wearable Electronics and Implantable Devices

Post-Doctoral Researcher positions are available on exciting projects related to flexible/stretchable wearable electronics and implantable devices. This research is multidisciplinary, crossing the areas of electrical engineering, materials science and engineering, biomedical engineering, and physics. We are broadly interested in development of soft bio-integrated devices that integrate electronics, wireless technologies, and advanced materials. We closely collaborate with materials scientists, medical doctors/neuroscientists for this effort.

Requirement - Candidates are sought to join efforts to develop advanced soft electronics technology for wearables and/or implantables. The successful candidates should have strong training in some of the followings: design and fabrication of flexible/stretchable electronics, functional materials, MEMS, Microfluidic devices, circuit design, and system integration. Expertise and extensive experience in micro/nano fabrication is a must.

All candidates should have strong experimental background, excellent verbal and written communication skills in Korean and English, a strong academic and publication record, and the ability to work independently. Postdocs are expected to function independently in the design and development of their research, collaborate with internal and external investigators, and participate in the preparation of manuscripts, grants, reports and presentations.

KAIST is host to a very active research environment and an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to building a diverse workforce.
